The 16th - Parish Day was held at 6 pm on Sunday, 9th April 2023 at Indian Community Senior School Auditorium, Salmiya. The celebration was kicked off with a procession followed by a thanksgiving prayer. Parish choir presented the opening song followed with prayer by Rev. A.T. Zachariah (Vicar, Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish). Shri. Boban Varghese (Parish’s Ex-Vice President welcomed the Guests and parishioners. Rev. Jiji Mathew (Vicar) delivered the presidential address. Shri. Ashish Kurian Mathew (Parish’s Ex-Secretary) presented a summary of the Parish’s annual report. Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos Suffragan Metropolitan, the Chief Guest, in his inaugural message applauded the Parish for its achievement of the years since its inception. After a melodious special song by Choir, Shri. Chacko Daniel (Ex-Lay Ministrant) and Mrs. Aleykutty Abraham (Ex-Secretary of Sevika Sangham) did the bible readings. Felicitation speeches were delivered by Rev. K.C. Chacko (President, Kuwait Centre Mar Thoma Joint Fellowship), Rev. Fr John Jacob (President, Kuwait Episcopal Churches Fellowship), Shri. Manoj Mathew (Sabha Council Member-Gulf Region 2020-23), Shri. Ajosh Mathew (NECK Representative) and Shri. Renji Varghese (Ex-Member Diocesan Assembly)

Children who have successfully completed their 10th and 12th class studies (during year 2021-22) were honored on stage along with their parents on behalf of the Parish by Ex-Trustees Shri. John Mammen and Shri. Nikhil Mathew Thomas.

Shri. John Varghese (Parish Secretary) gave the Vote of Thanks/ The Parish Day meeting, compeered by Shri. Jacob Joseph and Smt. Binu Jacob was completed after prayer by Rev. E. John Mathew and benediction by the Suffragan Thirumeni.

All guests and invitees participated in the dinner before closing out the 16th Parish day celebrations.
